Career Outcomes

The MU Outcomes Survey provides insight into the career plans of Mizzou graduates and tells a story of student success. Nine out of ten Mizzou graduates have successful outcomes within 6 months of graduation. The survey additionally provides detailed data on employment, salary, graduate school attendance and geographic location.

Career Advice

In fall of 2018, the MU Career Center introduced the Career Development Network- a program designed to help students with their career development. Through the program, faculty and staff participants receive specialized training in helping students with career-related questions and in preparing them for post-graduation success.

Interning at the Pentagon

Senior Lindsay Wright took her passion for organizational communication and military law all the way to the Pentagon this past summer for a prestigious internship with the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General.

Rachel Patteson lived in orphanages and foster homes as a child and was homeless during much of her high school years. Now, she prepares to graduate from Mizzou and study in London thanks to the Mark Twain Fellowship.

Striking Gold(water)

As roommates, Luke Guerdan and Evan Teters had lively conversations in the apartment they shared. Oftentimes, those discussions revolved around computer science. They never imagined that both would eventually become Goldwater Scholarship recipients.

MU Serves MO

The MU Office of Service-Learning has been serving Missouri since 1995 and each year, the amount of service grows. In the past 10 years, more than 1,706,400 hours have been served by MU students, generating an economic impact of more than $37,115,000 to the state of Missouri.
