Senior Kristyna Le plans to attend Simmons University in Boston next fall for a dual master’s in history and library science with an emphasis on archives management. She has always wanted to become a historical archivist, and her time at Mizzou has encouraged her choice. Her membership in the history club facilitated her historical interests. Her public history projects in class (which included writing social media posts for the Kemper Art Museum in St. Louis) her undergraduate research on archival collections with Dr. Merve Fejzula, and her volunteer position in the conservation lab at the State Historical Society all heavily influenced her choice of career. But she truly learned what she wanted to do through her archival internships with the University Archives and the State Historical Society. She is excited to take the next step into graduate school. She enjoys reading, sewing, costume making, doll and figure collecting.
