I designed this calendar based on my illustration skills, graphic design experience and my Chinese background. It is composed of twelve pages, all rendered with color and digital drawing. The idea of this series is rooted in Chinese culture. I want to bring the Chinese traditional calendar into a modern form. I created a little dog character as the main element in this project because 2018 is the year of the dog in Chinese lunisolar calendar. Inside the calendar, this puppy would lead readers to browse different Chinese foods, English version of Chinese poem and Chinese traditional 24 solar terms.
