“The Blue Peony Collection” is a garment collection inspired by ancient Chinese cultural elements with a twist of modern silhouettes. The collision of them brings out both the aesthetic feeling and practical. In Chinese culture, the peony represents the king of all flowers — the symbol of peace, happiness and prosperity. This stunning flower burst into bloom on my garments with good wishes. Blue is the main color of my collection instead of using vibrant color for Chinese-style design. Blue is calm and elegant, which also reflects the color way in Chinese Blue-and-White porcelain.
