My Lighting design for the MU theatre department’s annual Life and Literature series was a design for two different plays. The first show was Safe by Georgia Douglas Johnson and the setting is an interior of a black family post-Civil War at night. Which meant the room was lit by oil lamps. The second play was Passion Play by Zarhia Moore and its setting is in a graveyard during an undisclosed time of day.
