Visual Art & Design Showcase

The 2023 Visual Art and Design Showcase is a venue for Mizzou undergraduate students to display and discuss their scholarly work. The works of approximately 50 students will be on display and will feature a variety of artistic expression and applied design, including works of photojournalism, graphic design, architectural drawing, theater set design, painting, sculpting, textile and apparel design, mixed media, and digital storytelling.

Works will be displayed both online through a collaboration with the MU Libraries and in-person at the Columbia Art League.

The showcase will include experts in the fields of visual art and applied design. All of the students’ work will be on display through the MU Libraries website and $8,000 in professional development funds will be awarded to the most outstanding student work.
